TAF Forums

History of TAF

Turkish - Arab Economic Forum (TAF) started in 2005 with the support and under the patronage of H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of Türkiye. Since than, TAF has brought together 10 Prime Ministers, 98 Ministers, and more than 9,000 valuable participants in 12 Turkish-Arab Economic Forum (TAF) and 2 Turkish-Arab Capital Markets Forum (TAF-CM) editions.

TAF has become the pioneer economic platform and diplomatic summit of MENA, with the official support of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye, Ministry of Treasury and Finance of Türkiye.

In 2010, TAF hosted the Turkish-Arab Ministers of Foreigns Affairs Meeting, and all Ministers announced their official supports with a commonly signed declaration.

TAF is organized primarily in cooperation with The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK), as well as Independent Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (MÜSİAD), Turkish Contractors Association (TMB) in different years.
